10 THI EDITOR OF "THB PRESS." Sir,—lt. is gratifying to see that Premier and prohibitionists, alike have declared themselves in favour of pure electoral rolls. Migut I suggest that printed lists of all persons born in the principal centres of New Zealand eighteen, nineteen, "and twenty years ago bo printed in Wellington (where "be records are kept), and. copies thereof sent to every Registrar of Electors. By this means the rolls could be purified by the elimination of all native-born under-age voters. If the Premier and tho prohibitionist members aro willing to back this proposal up, they need not fear much opposition from tho rest of the House. At present, .so far as this city is concerned, tiiore is littlo or no cßeck on the enrolment of others by zealous enthusiasts. Tho j)uhlic should know this, and knowing it should work very wide of tho proposed "bare majority" move. I value my right to vote, and do not wish to see that vote neutralised, by that of an immature elector.—Yours, etc.. ADULT VOTER-
