Tho Engineer Mas requested to report in connection with Messrs H. Quane and Co., lotter in regard to Jones's patent line cleaner. A letter was received from the Heathcote Road Board asking the Board to .make the portion of the road from tho __eat_coto bridge to tho quarries fit for vehicular traffic. The traffic manthe engineer were requested to.report.on the matter. "The application of Mr W. Dalley and several rtsidentc of Adding.on asking if the Board could see its way to alter the present stopping-place to Dickens Street was roferred to tho Traffic Superintendent. The Halswell Road Board forwarded -coloured map setting forth the districts concerned in tho Halswell special loan area, and the chairman and Mr Sykes (the representative of the district) were appointed to check the areas shown in the map. Accounts to tho amount of £14,272 l&s 6d were passed for payment.
