SUPREME COURT SENTENCES.
(rUKSS ASSOCIATION* TELEGB.-l-.) WELLINGTON, July 6. In the Supreme Court to-day several prisoners, who had pleaded guilty in the lower Court, came before Mr Justice Edwards for sentence.
Joseph Kenny, alias Monrissey, on a charge of breaking and entering, was ser.tnnced to twelve months' imprisonment; John Ooughi was sentenced to twelve months for theft at Dannnvirke; and Walter Donghi, charged M'ith housebreaking in the same town, was remanded for a Meek. Arthur Wicks, music teacher, was sentenced to twelve months for false pretences.
