QUEENSLAND v. MAORI TEAM.
BRISBANE, July o. There was a big attendance at the match between the Queensland and Maori teams, and the game was hotly contested from start to finish. At helf-time the scores were—Queensland 3 (a try by Hardcastle). Maoris 2 (a penalty goaf kicked by Asher). In the second spell Haira secured a try for the Maoris, and Hardcastle added a second try for Queensland, tbo match ending, Queensland 0, Maoris •>.
