; « (PRESS ASSOCIATION -___CR_*r.) HASTINGS. June I. Over throe hundred and eighty players, including ninety ladies, will tako part in the Hawke's Bay hockey tournament to be held here on Wednesday. A large attendaaice asseanbled to see the match between Akaroa end Timaru Ladies' Clubs on North Park grounds yesterday afternoon. A fast and exciting game resulted in a -win for Akaroa by ono goal to nil. Mr F. Freeman was referee.
