CHAMBER CONCERT.
The teeond chamber concert of the winter series, arranged by the Misses Ohristabol and Alma Wells, R.C.M.L., and Mr Gladstone Bell, will be given to-night in the Alexandra Hall. The programme comprises Beethoven's Trio No. 3 and Gade's "Novelletten." by tho Misses Wells and Mr Gladstone 8011. Miss Ohristabei Wells will play "Nocturne" (Chopin-Sarasate), "Berceuse" (Arensky). and "Perpetuum Moone" (Franz Ries). Mrs C. M. Brooke will sing "So Saran Rosa" (Arditi), "Rondef' (Elgar), and "Lark's Carol" (Newton). Tlie box plan is now open, at- the Dresden. Mr Geof. Cathro, touring manager for Mr Harry Riokards's Vaudeville Company, which opens at the Theatre Royal on Monday evening next, arrived in Christehurch from the South yesterday.
