Suib-TJnion held a trial match on Saturday, with a view of selecting a representative team to play the North Canterbury Sn)b-Union at the Canterbury Rugby Union "Country Day" on Jtino 4 th, at Lancaster Pork. Tho selectors havo chosen the following:—Full back, C. Mason; threequarters, R. Spooner, R. Mason, C. Moore; five-eight3i6, L. Molntceh, E. Mason; half, li. Hemingway; forwards, A. Moore, A. Ware, A. McKay, E. Williams, W. Jacobson, D. Barwiok, J. Fiynn, P. Wilkins (wing). Emergencies, V. Craw (forward), Bamett (back). Mr D. Cunningham was appointed! manager of tho team.
