SMART DELIVERY.
A Harrow resident, writing to the "Daily Mail." gives an instance of smartness in delivering a vaguely addressed telegram:—"iHvo frien__ of mine, a lady and her husband, came from Lincolnshire to London for the day. The gentleman went on to Wind. - sor on business, and his wife came to Hampstead to call on mc. She had ar- * ranged to meet Ivor husband at six;' ' o'clock in Piccadilly Circus, and I accompanied her there. While waiting -'• I saw a telegraph boy hand a telegram ' to the constable on duty. Ho read the message, glanced round the circus, and <■" came straight to us. He handed my •■* companion the telegram, which readaa folJowsi—__indry toll 'short lady in tailor-made brown coat and skirt lam ' delayed in Windsor] will meet her. • eight o'clock same place.' Then fol- * < lowed her husband'- name. The telegram was addressed to The constable "* on duty, Piccadilly Circus, W.*" ~ %
