SUED FOR £11,000.

LONDON, May 7.
Mr Meakin, a solicitor, is suing T. Caradoo Kerry for £11,000, alleging false representations respecting guano islands in the South Pacific. Sir Meakin gave Kdrry £6000 in cash, and alleges that the latter expended £5000 in promoting a company' on the representation that the guana deposits •were valuable, whereas they were afterwards shown to be so valueless that the- <-;ibscriptions were returned to :'. ;-o holdere.
