BRAIN INJURY

MELBOURNE, May 6. A remarkable m«lioal case is at-
tracting attention. Comvay, a groom, was admitted to a hospital on Monday suffering from a terrible injury to his head. A racing pony had kicked his forehead in, and tho brain matter was protruding. A portion of the brain was entirely separated, and was found floating in the water used to free tho man's face of blood.
In spite of his injuTy, however, the man is conscious, and seems to have a chance of recovering.
