(Received May 6th, 10 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 6. .Tie Board appointed to enquire into the Muirurundi railway Occident lound that tie responsibility rested on the night officer, Ihvyer, and the acting-signalman, Gibson, who were Saftty of gross negligence. In the .Board's opinion the home signal was B ofc placed at danger after the arrival of the first division train and until after the accident, notwithstanding the evidence of Gibson and a shunter to the -contrary effect. The Board is satisfied tfca-t the home signal was in good working order up to the time of the arrival of jihe first division train, but makes certain recommendations with a viow of improring the shunting and signalling •t Murrurundi.
