The annual meeting of tho EHesmere *■ Licensing Committee will bo held at tho Little River Courthouse at noon on i Thursday, June 4th. ■ The annual meeting of the Eyreton = Road Board will bo hold on Monday, "May,4th, at noon, the meeting of ratepayers following iit 2 p.m. .';-■ A concert, will be held in St. Mark's .■ schoolroom; Opawa, by the ladies of tho Opawa Cricket Club at 8 o'clock tonight.
A eale of work will bo held in St. Barnabas schoolroom, Fendalton, this afternoon and evening. As will be seen by a notification elsewhore, a course of lectures in dental .anatomy, as required for tho Dental Intermediate Examination of tho New Zealand University, will be given at Canterbury College by Professor Chilton. . Intending students a-ro invited to meet the Professor in the biological lecture room on Tuesday, at 5 p.m., vhon hours for the class will be arranged.
