'Received May Ist, 12.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, April 30. Complaints of tho inactivity of tho Imperial Government in connection with the New Hebrides were referred to in the House of Representatives. It was pointed out that the French Governor was on has way out, while there had been no word of a similar British official having be«s7i selected.
Mr Deakin stated that he cable] Homo six weeks ago about the matter, and the reply ua.s that the Government were considering ■whom they would appoint.
