Tho English have adopted the designs of the l>eautiful Brnrswis tap<t>trj- and hitnxlueed them to the trade as 'Brussels tapestry carpats.' The so-called Brussels carpets are manufactured in England and supplied to the Belgium market at prices much lower than those for which tie same carpotu ran ho produced in Belgium, lor the rva.-on that, the English use modern machinery and nianufuc•ture in laryo quantiues."
