TINWALD YARDS.
There was. a fairly good attendance at the Tiuwald yards yesterday, and tho entry of ahopp,; lambs, an-d cattle
offered was much larger than that on tho occasion of the last sale. Despite the improved condition of tho feed, there was no improvement in the market, prices remaining practically on ,a par with late rates. The following artquotations:—Sheep—Fat pans: There R-ere 3950 fat sheep yarded, ewes and wethers selling well, while the sale t>l lambs was dragging. Prices were: — Ewes 103 Id to 10s 9d, lambs 11s 3d to l(is Bd> wethers 13s 7d to 17s. Store pens: 4300 were yarded, the rang© or prices beans—Lambs Is 7d (culls) to 12s 2d, crossbred owesos Id to 11s 6d, merino ewes'4s 8d to os 3d. Cattle.—Thirty-four head were yarded in both store and fat departments Fat pcns—Stesrs £3 os to £10, heifers £3 los to £7, cows £3 5s to £8. Store pens—Steers £2 7s 6d, he;fers_ £2, springers £7 10s, yearlings £2 7s dd.
