THEATRE ROYAL

"Blue Bell in Fairyland" was very successfully revived last night «* the Theatre Royal by tie Pollard Juvenile Opera Company. Some changes wore made in the cast of prinoipais, Mie© Nollio FrniLay taking the part of Diok and' Master Nornran Mudford that of Blob. MrSchatz also resumed las part of Wont. Miss Miiuiio Topping played tho character of Blue 8011 1 .very well, though at times "her voice hardly sooiuod to bo as strong as on. her former appearance. Miss Nellie Finilay "was excellent as Dick, infusing a great deal of life and spirit into the ch«wacter. Master Mudford's voice ig somewhat light for the character of Blob, and it was exceedingly difficult to hear his verses in the topical song "Yes, ot Course." Otherwise hie impergoiuatioin was very good. Mr Charles Aibeort was, if anj-thing, bettor tWn before in, the character of the Qucem. Maetcu: Bert Nicholson made quite a hit in his song "If a J Ackney •with the 'ouses ; Took Away," and he was also very successful in Uio part of Blib. To-mor-row "His Highness the Bey" will be staged. On Friday, which is a sports night, under the patronage of the various sports bodies, the company will rtrike out in quite a .new line, being seen in a very attractive vaudeville programme. This will also be repeated on Saturday night, which, will be the last night of the season, and there will lx» a matinee of "ißlue BeU" an Satur-. day afternoon.
