DEAF AND DUMB ACTORS.
To demonstrate their remarkable facility or communication, the deaf and dumb people in London arranged an entertainment on a recant evening at the St. Saviour's Social Club, Oxford street. A one-act play was staged in which actors, scene shifters and stage manager were all doaf and dumb —as -wero the audience who witnessed the performance. The eceno was an extraordinary on« (says tho "Daily Mail"). Not a sound'brake the stivineea of the hall during tho whole time the play was on, both action and dialogue being accomplished) in silonco. The actors, with mobile faces, gesticulated quaintly undfcr tlio- limelight, reeling off their parts upon fingers which moved with a lightuiing-iiko raptiddty.
