AUCKLAND, April 27. Mr Monro, an ex-Judge of the Native Land Court, was on Saturday knocked down by a cyclist and severely bruised. His confinement to bed brought on a trouble r.hich necessitated a surgical operation. This was performed on Saturday morning, andin tihe evening he died suddenly from heart failure.
