THE "DAILY MAIL" CUP.

Tho aocond practice competition in, view of tho "Daily Mail" Overseas Challenge Oup, took place at Eedcliffs, at 200 and 600 yards, on Saturday afternoon, under conditions not altog-thor conducive t» good /sooring, on aooouivt of a tricky wind co__in<* in off tho sea* The "B" butt was used, and the competitors took some time to grasp the conditions, after being used to the "A" butt all the eoasan previous. Some consistent soorcs wero made, but a oocsideraVo improvement will have to take place if the As-ooiation is to be at tho head of tlie list when Empire Day arrives.
