THE CASE OF THE IKHONA

ST. PETERSBURG, April 23.
Tlie Supremo Prize Court at St. Petersburg overruled the Libau Prize Court's decision, and allowed £131,400 compensation: for the sinking of tho British steamer Ikhona, during-the Russo-Japanese war, by tlie Russian, cruiser Terek. The Court ruled that while the Terek was justified in stopping her, she ought- to havo been allowed to proceed.
