With the object of keeping New Zealand and its resources before the notice of newspaper readers in the United Kingdom, the Government is making an important and interesting experiment. An arrangement has been effected with Router's Telegraph Company to despatch three times a week from New Zealand to ___.ngla__td a message of a hundred words containing items of general news which will bo of interest to newspaper readers at Homo. The selection of tho news is left entirely to Renter's Agency, it being understood that the items are to be free from bias. Matters which no doubt will receive attention will be any important statements by the head of tho Government, crop prospects, mining returns, the yield of Wheat, and matters affecting the extensive trad© between New Zealand and tho United) Kingdom, Canada and America. It is proposed to allow th© newspapers of Canada and the Unit-edi States to take th© message upon payment of their share of the distributing cost. The Pacific cable will bo used, and the message would be intercepted' en rout© for tho United Kingdom.
