Tliero was a fairly largo entry of stock, but the attendance, on account ot the rain, was smaller than usual. SLoro shee;> met with a dragging sale, lambs selling tho best; fat lambs were rather firmer, and fab sheep sold at about last week's rates. Fat cattle wcro rather dull of salo, and pigs were in K<xxl demand. There was littk> demand for store cattle.

STORE -SHEEP. TIiPTO was a smaller yarding of store r,::iK>i> than of late, and the bulk had j lxvii" travelled from a distance, and j wore, consequently, in low condition. ! There was a marked falling off in tho I demand, except for lambs, and many lines of owes and wethers wero passed. For lambs there was a good enquiry, and hut weeks rates wero fully maintained. Wethers: 53 afc 10s Cd, 10 at 12s, 112 four-tooths at 135 7d, 179 four-tooths at 14s, 40 two and fourtooths at 12s lid, 415 at las to 15s Id, 259 two and four-tooths at 12s, 170 two tooths at 8s 4d, 127 do at 9$ 7d. FAT LAMBS. Thero was a moderate, entry of fat lambs, and the quality showed a ooneiderablo improvement on the previous week's yarding. Among tho entries wero a number of large lines of good himbs from Cheviot. There was a good demand for export, and prices wero rather firmer. Tegs made- los Gd to 17s od, an extra line 18a 9d, ordinary freezing weights 13s to 15s 3d, nnd. light or.d -unfinished 10s to 12s 6«l .
