A professor of the »lenina University, with his wife and a friend, gained, through tho Austrian Ambassador, admiiit'tance to the Pope's pirivart© Macs. The Pope end 200 of tiro tfaitihful were horrified to see them receive from the Pope a consecrated wafer, and then eject it from their mouths. -They were thereupon expelled.
They declare themselves to be Jews, and tliat they expected, to kiss the Pope's h.-vnd, 'but did not know what to do with t'be wafer, and did not mean disrespect.
