Tlie committee had made- payments amounting to £517 5s lOd, and accounts for £7C9 11b 2d were recommended for payment. Dr. Valintine. Matron reported that Nurses Smyfche- emd McKay had completed their first year'e training, arid were eligible for promotion. Probationers Niicol, and Hodges 'had -been promoted to the niirsinjr staff, and Misses Bowio and Graham ibad been accepted on trial. .During Marrh 5 patients had been admitted to the Akaroa Hospital; 2 Mere discharged, leaving 3 remaining on the 31st. At Bottle Lake HoerwtaJ 1 woe admitted and 4 dischanred, loavin.z 1 remaining on the 31st 3larch. The reports were adopted.
