EASTER TOURNAMENT.
THIRD DAY.
Tho Ea'fter Tournament, under -the auspices of tho Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Bowling , Association, was concluded yesterday. The strong east wind blowing- up the gr*en mnde the playintr rather uneven, but some excellent shots were played. Jacquo3 and Rowe, for the winners of th« rink competition, were especially good. In the Doublo=. Brackenride»o played a greai game throughout. In the last head his opponents were lying , four, and ho essayed a shot to cut them out. narrowly missing. After tho game was over he played the same phot and got it. Tho prizes were trold medals for the winners, tnd silver medah for the runners-up.

DOUBLES. SBMI-FINAL. Dr. Gow and Brackenridge 14 beat Fra*er and Wilson 12: Hardie and Davis 19 beat Stark and Taylor 7.
FINAL. Hardio and Davis 18 beat Dr. Gow and Brackenridpo 16, and won Brackenridge and Gow runncrs-up. In this match some excellent nlay was sliown by Brackenridge and Hardie. CONSOLATION KINK MATCH. FIRST KOUND. Wilson 15 beat Wolfe 7. CroßSWcll 14 beat Redpatfi 12. Whito 23 beat Spiller 10. SECOND BOUND. Wilson 14 beat White 12. Torraneo 15 beat Stark 13. SHMI-FINAT,. Torranoe 15 beat Cress weli 10. FINAi.
Torrance 11 beat "Wilpon 4, and won the match. Wilson was runner-up Th-e arrangements for the tournament were excellent throughout, and the energ-etk; secretary of the Centre (Mr F. Saxton) deserves irreat credit for tho completeness of all the details.
