Wallace was beaten by Fiillagar (Paramatta) by 21 to 12, and New Zealand's only "*chance in the semi-finals was thus disposed of. The final was won by Stephens, Victoria, who played a brilliant game throughout. In the round in which he qualified, for the final his opponent (Anderson) led him by nineteen to sis.
