CHEVIOT STOCK SALE.
The fortnightly stock sale was held in the McKenzie yards on Tuesday. The following prices were ootaincd:— Seventeen lambs Ss, U ewes .s, 36 four-tooth wethers 13s 6d, o9 a. lambs 7s •"-'So halfbred two-tooth wethers 10s Id. 257 lambs 7s 3d. 27 two-toot-wethers los.
Acting under instructions by the Public Trustee, "Messrs Dalgety and Co. held a clearance sale in the estate of Cm. iato E. E. Knott, Port Robinson. Prices realised for sheep were:— Sixty-three two and four-t*oth ewes 12s 3d, 62 lambs 9s Id, 1 ram *_.*
