The Easter tournament under the auspices of the Canterbury Centre o£ the Now Zealand Bowling Association was commenced on Friday on th. Christchurch. Canterbury, and St. Albans greens. The following wero the results:—

Barlow's rink and Ma-rriott's rink tied in the number of games won. but the section win was awarded to Barlow on the «Tgregate. Marriott entered a protest, which will be considered by the committee.
