In connection with the Fourth Egglaying Competition of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club at Lincoln College, the number of egg. laid the second week was 29&, making the total to date 623. The best layings for the week were:—W. A. Nixon, White Leghorns, 26; T. Kennedy, Silver Wyandottes, 24; A. Padman (Adelaide), White Leghorns, 24; Allan Petrie, White Leghorns, 23. The highest totals to date are:—W. A. Nixoi% "White Leghorns, 62; T. Kennedy, Silver Wyandottes, 68; Allan Petrie, White leghorns, 54; A. Padulan, White Leghorns, 49; R. W. Hawke, White Leghorns, 39; W. A. Nixon, Silver Wyandottes, 35.
