SUBSTANTIAL'GOLD RESERVE
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, April 17. The National City Bank of NewYork has resumed its gold exports by consigning a million dollars to Paris. The reserve of gold in New York bankß is far above the percentage required by law.
•LONDON, April 18
The "Standard's" New York correspondent says that negotiations are ■progressing for the City Bank to absorb the Bank of Commerce. Their united capital will be £10,000,000, an£ their deposits £60,000,000.
