In order to heighten tho interest in this season's Rugby Football Fixtures, the proprietors of "Truth" have decided to offer weekly Prizes of £1 Is and 10s 6d respectively to the persons making the First and Second most accurate forecasts of the results of the Three .Senior Rugby Football Matches played under the auspices of the Canterbury Rugby Football Union during tho coming 6eason. Any person is eligible to compete, except employees of tho Christchurch Press Company. • The Competitions for each Saturday -will close on the previous Friday night at 10 o'clock. TKe entries will not be opened till tho matches aro over, and the results -will be announced in each Monday's "Truth." It Costs Nothing to Compete. Tho Senior Championship Matches Open on Saturday Next, April 25th, and the following fixtures have been arranged:— SYDENHAM v. ALPTON OLD BOYS v. CHRISTCHURCH LTXWOOD v. CANTERBURY COLLEGE MERIVALE a Bye. All that is necessary for competitors to do is to cut out the special form appearing in "Truth." fill in their selections, and forward them in closed envelopes to the Football Editor, "Truth" Offico.
