CHEVIOT.
A very successful church fair was hold in the Town Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday. Good business was done at all tho stalls, which were in charge of tho following ladies:—Fancy stall (£34): Mrs J. C. Robinson, Misses Rutherford, Dilworth and Hungerford ; produce stall (£l4), Mrs Denton and Mrs Goeson ; flower stall; Mesdames Crampton, Thwaites and Misses Lewis and Dickie; plain work stall, Mesdames Evans, Hodgson, Bradley; parcel stall, Mrs Barnett, 'Miss Hyde; shooting gallery, Mesrrs G. R. and C. Bolton; toa stall, Mosdames Lee, Sustius, Deal, Steinton, Osborne, Harvey and Hughes; sweet stall, Mesdames Olliver and Wilkinson, and Miss Wafforn; book-stall, Miss D. Wilkinson. The total sum collected was £125 8s 9d.
