United Press Association—By Electrip Telegraph—Copyright. N|)W YORK, December 22. Upon arrival at New York, Caldwell was arrested. He stated he was Buffering from Bright'a Disease. The Court appointed doctors to examine him. They reported that Caldwell was desperately ill, whereupon bail was fixed at 6000 dollars. Caldwell was remanded till January 7th, and the bail was furnished. The news of the issue of the warrant for OaldweH wea received by wireless telegraphy aboard the Kaiserin Auguete. Caldwell and other paeeengera learnt the news from the daily paper published aboard. CWdwelj arrived in New York bordering on oolja-pee.
