MOTORING.
A meeting of the motor branch of the Christchurch Cycling and Motor Club -.vas held on Friday evening, Mr R. B. Walker presiding. The vicc-captaili (Mr F. N. Sinclair) reported having recently motored to Dunedin and back for the purpose of inspecting the course suggested for tho proposed motor-cycle refiabilitv trial, and had found that, on the whole, the roads between Christchurch and Dunedin were in excellent condition, and provided every essential for 6nch a to:-,t. It was decided to recommend to the Club's cxeciftivo that a sum of £15 l-3i should be voted towards the prize fund for the trial. It was resolved to hold a motor run to Glentui Gorge next Sunday, leaving the club house ot 9 a.m., and to extend an invitation to motoritU generally to join in tho run.
