PIGEON FLYING.
The Chri'tcliureh Homing Pigeon Society (rcgiftwed) flew off o race from Clinton on Saturday. Fiftr birds were cent, representing IB Ir-fta. The tirde were liberated at 0.15 a.m., in favourable weather, which euabled them to nut up a fast Telocity. The winner was Mr W. Dixon'* Squatter, which traversed the distance of 245 miles 157 yard* air line, in shra IGaiin ISeec. The following is the reoult:—W. Dixon's Sqiwtter, l»9yJi per minute; F.
