A MUCH NEEDED COMPANY.
4SIGNIFICANT SIGN OF DEVELOPMENT. A SURE RETURN FOR INVESTORS. For many years Christchurch residente have felt the need of an Ice and Cold Storage Company. The demand for cold storage for perishable articles of food increases with the necessity for perfect hygiene. The manufacture of ice in the city becomes more imperative as the transporting and heavy freight* of the present supplies are recognised. An announcement appears in another column of the formation of the Canterbury Ice and Cold Storage Company of New Zealand, Ltd. The promoters have met with solid support as the objects of the company are extensive, and will supply a much-needed want. The provisional directors are all city men, and it is intended that the capital be subscribed in Christchurch. The company is not over capitalised, thus assuring good dividends, while the amount to be subscribed will provide for future development. The preliminary charges are small., so that the company will have the full use of ite capital. It is expected that only 8s per share will be required for the company to start business. The conipany' offers a. splendid inducement for ■ capitalists. The prospectus, containing the objects and memorandum of the company, will be posted on application to Wickes, Limited, Austral Buildings, Colombo street, Christchurch. 1
