FLORENCE SCAPENS'S CONCERT.
An interesting event in tho local musical world Avill take plaoo on Thursday evening, 24th iiist.. nt-tho Alexandra Hall, when Miss Florence Scapens, a twelve-year-old violinist of great promise, will muko her debut. Mis Burns, .Misses Hi ma Young and Ruby Edgar, Messrs Vincent, March, and the Cathedral quartette will assist. Tho concert is given in aid of a fund ■which is being raised to send Miss Scapons to Prague to complete her violin studies.
