LECTURE RECITAL.
To-morrow ovoinug, in tno Aicxanuru Hail, -Mr Neville Kenaud, organist of St. Andrew's Church, assisted by Mrs C M. Brooke and Miss Packer, will give a lecture recital, illustrative of the works of some of tho great German composer*. Mrs Brooke will sing "Aye Maria" (Bach-Gounod), "Dch Per Queeto" and "Voi cho Sapete" (Mosari), •Hymn to tho Almighty" (Schubert), "Lullaby" (Brahnis), and "A Dream in the Twilight ,, (Strau&s). Miss Packer will play a violin eolo, "Lo Ijouro (Bach), and with Mr Kenaud tako part in tho piano dnetSj "Toccata and Fugue" (bach), and 'Clock .Symphony" (Haydn)- Mr Kenaud will play two piano &0103, '"Die Juiigo «\onn*»" (Schu-Iwrt-Liszt), ami tho "P-ipillons" (Bchuinann). He will also give a bhort description of tlio life work of tho composers selected.
