The reply of the Railway Companies' Association received by Mr Richard J>ell confirms their refusal to confer with delegates of the men's associations.
Advices from Glasgow state that the Scotch railways have resolved; in tho event of a strike, forthwith to accept nil employees' notices. It is intimated that the places of the 12,000 members of the Amalgamated iSccioty of Railway Servants can easily bo filled.
