ALLEGED THEFT OF BANK NOTES.
(PKEeS ASSOCIATIOV TELEGRAM^ TAIHAPE, October 15. Jae.' Arnott, with several aliases, was before the Court to-day charged with Mealing six one-pound notee, the property of the Bank of Australasia, from the Turekin* at Wellington on October 9th. Accused eaid he bought one note from % man at Wellington, who ofterwarde gave him others. He was also charged with obtaining 15e from Wm. Harvey, Taihepe, by means of a valueless note, payment having been cancelled. He wae remanded.
