At tho Magistrate's Court yesterday, H Gallagher denied that he was herding cattle on the Drain road, alleging he was only taking them to water. The ranger of the Mandeville and Rangiora Roard Board and a witness proved the herding. A fine of 20s and costs was imposed. In the civil case, J. H. Morley and Co. v. F. G.
