LECTURE-RECITAL.
Tho locture-recital to be given by Mr Renaud, organist of St. Andrew'sChurch, on Thursday evening at the Alexandra Hall, should be most interesting to all lovers of music. The composers intended to be referred to and illustrated will be Bach, Haydn, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, and Strauss. Miss Packer and Mr Renaud will give the instrumental. illustrations for violin, piano.. and organ, and Mrs C. M. Brooke tne vocal illustrations. Of the latter an excellent •election, haa been made. The plan of reserved aeats is now open at Messrs Milner and Thompson'a.
