LAWN TENNIS.
4 The annual meeting of the Kowai Pass Tennis Club was held on Friday evening. Tho balance-sheet, showing a substantial credit balance, was adopted. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr G. Rutherford; vicepresidents, Messrs Johnson. Dailey and Ogden; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr Carter. A strong committee was elected, and it was decided to have the opening on Saturday, October 19th.
