(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)

'OAMARU, October 12. Bearing on tho recently telegraphed reports from Auckland, as the result of interviews published by the "Auckland Herald," a.s to tho evidence or otherwise of grievances in the Postal and Telegranh Department, the Oamarn branch of the Post and Telograph Officers' Association unanimously adopted the following resolution:— '•In view of the many beneficial reforms introduced during the past few months and the assurance that an amending classification measure will be introduced in Parliament this session, this branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association disapproves the action of certain officers in allowing themselves to be interviewed as to grievances, imaginary- or real, and considers the initiative token by the 'Auckland Herald' undignified, ill-advised, and ill-timed, and that representation be made by this branch to its executive, of the desirability of acquainting the Press Association of the existence oi the Post and Telegraph Officers Association for the information of its agents.''
