Tho last meeting <rf the Geriidihe Road Board was attended by. Mesera J. Kellend (chairman), J. M. Barker} J. Wharton, and P. Miilvihili. Tke'overseor waa authorised to attend t<l> tho approach to tho Kakahu Bwsh .bnidgt«, and it was agreed to lay down pipes across a new fend at Four Peaks provided Mr J. Robinson, tho applicant, paid half cost. The Department of Agriculture were granted permission, to shoot rabbit* on the l3oard'e .plantation rwrves. It waS resolved to reform and shingle-the Four Peaks reed when the contractor had completed the present work in that locality. The oversew reported that tho stono crusbor had startod irork in the Rangitata district, and wae doing good work crushing boulders at the re to of 30 to 40 cifbic yards .per day. It was decided to have some crushing done also at Gapes Valley. Account? for £107 10s »5d nere paseed. :
