WELLINGTON v. CANTERBURY. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, September 8. The Association football match between Wellington and Canterbury was played at Miramar on Saturday before about a thousand persons. Sir Joseph and Lady Ward wero among the spectators, and after the match the Premier complimented both captains on the form shown by their teams. The weather was excellent and the ground in good order.

The teams were as follows^— Canterbury:—Goal, Rnseell; back*, Chapham, Ameer; halves, Jonee, M'Oreanor, Hattriok; forwards, Knight, Smith, Dowkor, Pitt. Harvey.
