JS'ew Plymouth—Wind, S.W., fresh; bnxometer, 23.79; thermoir.etor, 55; weather fine; sea moderate Castlepoint—Wind, S.W., barometer, 29.63; thermometer, 51; sky cloudy; *oa moderate. Wellington—Wind, S.S.E. breeze barometer, 2X73; thermometer, 60: weather fine. K-sikoiura—Wind, west, li&nt; barometer, 20.71; thermometer, 50; weather fine; sea smooth. Bluff—Wind, S.W. breeze; barometer. 23.73; thermometer, 47; sky overcast. Low pressure from the west will probably cause high winds from the northward, Boutn of Napier and Now Plymouth, on the Bth. and a very low barometer in the fjouthcrn districts batween the Bth and 9th inst.
