ADELAIDE, September 6.
The Budget showed for the past year a surplus of £297,673. Amongst the prime ctuses of the surplus wae on increase of nearly GOCO in the population. The number of marriages was the largest ever recorded. The development of mining and agricultural interests is en important contribution to the colony's prosperity.
