KITCHEN GARDEN.
The recent deluge of rain has quite put a stop to all work, and all seed sowing and planting must bo delayed till tho soil becomes dry n&ain. To work the soil when it is sodden does grent damage to its fertility, and a seed bed prepared while tho soil is in. a very wet condition mean* certain failure for tho crop which will be sown. Not only so, but it sometimes takes two seasons for the.soil to recover itself again. Wait till the soil gets dry.
