HELENSVILLE HOT SPRINGS.
• (rnrss association T_t._s.B_v..) AUCKLAND, June 10. The Hon. G. Fowlds to-day visited Helensville, for the purpose of formally opening the new Bathhouse et tho hot .springs thore. A large nunjber of Auckland visitors attended. The Bupply is said to be permanent, and the medicinal qualities undoubted. Government assistance towards erecting a caretaker's house and beautifying the grounds was asked for. Tlie Alinister gave a very sympathetic reply. He said he believed that a very great tourist traffic- would develop, and he thought the Tourist Department would take over tho spring!.
